Spivey's is bringing back Wednesday poker tournaments beginning 10/22/08. 7 & 10 pm tournaments with $20 prize each round.

Spivey's Bar and Grill is pleased to announce its 2nd Vegas Vacation Giveaway series.

Players who place in the top 8 of each Spivey's poker tournament from 10/13/08 to 11/25/08 are automatically entered in the Vegas Vacation Giveaway. Seating is limited to the occupancy of the bar.
The Main tournament will be held on Nov. 26th. Players that qualified for the early round will begin play at 7pm and those who qualified for the late round will begin play at 10pm. The top 8 players of each round will then compete against each other at 8pm on Nov. 28th.
The Poker Pub will be giving away $30 Harrah's tournament buy-ins
Sunday Oct. 5th at Fox and Hound, 7 and 10 pm
Monday Oct. 13th at Talk Of The Town, 7:30 and 10:30 pm

All this week players can choose from different giftcards from locations such as BestBuy, Quicktrip and AMC movie theaters. This promotion starts 9/28. Nightly rewards credits are still an option. This offer is only at select locations.
Talk Of The Town tournament times will be at 7:30 and 10:30 on Mondays Starting 9/15.

We would like to take the time to congratulate the players heading to Las Vegas, NV on Tuesday, June 3nd for The 2008 National Tournament of Champions. They will be competing against the other Poker Pub regions for a $10,000 seat to the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event.
All of the players heading to the national championship have either won a Tournament of Champions or a top 300 points leader tournament. You can qualify to win a free roundtrip airfare and hotel National Tournament of Champions package by placing in the top 8 of a nightly tournament and by special invitations for the top 300 points leaders.
We will keep you updated with the winner of the tournament once it is completed.
Regarding a very strong response to a new Kansas City wide Poker Pub rule change we have removed the wording that seems to personally offend some Poker Pub players. The final table number will be a random selection at the beginning of every Poker Pub tournament. Poker Pub players are only able to sign up 1 other person besides themselves. No one is to be told what table number they can or can not sit at however, hosts will enforce the rule that each player may only sign up 1 other player.
